Chester County

Emergency Medical Service

CCEMS was founded in 1972, the service started with three ambulances headquartered in the city of Chester and the Great Falls substation.  In 1993 a third station was added in the town of Richburg.  We are currently covering 586 square miles, operating four ALS ambulances out of three stations.  Each unit is staffed with highly trained and dedicated employees.  Typical combinations include Paramedic / EMT or Paramedic / Paramedic.  In 2011 we moved into our new state of the art Great Falls substation located on Chester Ave.
